iTunes play back glitching

Last night I updated my Mac to High Sierra and when I attempt to play any downloaded movie/tv episodes on iTunes the play back is real glitchy and choppy. The only way I have been able to get the video playback to be smooth is by right clicking on the video in iTunes and selecting "Remove Download" Any idea why this is? I didnt have this issue before.

I wasn't sure where to appropriately post it to. Does anyone have any idea how I can resolve this iTunes playback issue?

Wait a few days for High Sierra to complete its housekeeping chores. You might see improvement.

I have been having the same issue with playback through iTunes of purchased videos. The playback suddenly becomes stuttery/choppy. It has been happening ever since I installed High Sierra.
