I'm transferring all my media from my iMac G5 to my new Core 2 Duo iMac. I didn't use the easy migration assistant this time as I wanted a "clean" install of everything since I've used that assistant 3 or 4 times now to new computers. My question is:

1. How do I transfer the actual Playlists I have created in iTunes after I get the music/videos transferred?

2. And how can I transfer my albums to iPhoto once I get all the photographs transferred? (didn't want to make a 2nd thread about this one when it can likely be answered in the same one).

Thanks!

Assuming you let iTunes and iPhoto manage your files respectively, then simply drag the iTunes folder from the Music folder on your old Mac to the Music folder on the new Mac. Do the same with the iPhoto Library folder on your old Mac (in the Pictures folder). Do this whilst the two apps are closed, and you'll be right. Opening the apps on the new Mac should automatically recognise your libraries, retaining your files, playlists and albums. :)
