iTunes Playlist format question

First attempt at building a playlist. I want to build a playlist to d'load to thumb drive and use in Jeep UConnect system. The Help/Intro to iTunes video shows playlist w/ album by album list. When I try to create a playlist, I get a list of songs in each album, not simply albums. I want to be able to look through albums to choose what I'm looking for, not look through an entire list of songs on the playlist while in the Jeep (Actually, passenger will look for albums/songs.)

So, what am I doing incorrectly?
