Hey guys,

I have a lot of music on my computer from AGES ago. . .I don't want to sync everything so currently I have a playlist labeled iPhone.

The problem is I'd love all new music I get to go on the iPhone. . .it's only a bunch of the first things I ripped to the computer I wouldn't like to automatically update.

Is there a way I can get iTunes to automatically add any new music to the iPhone playlist?

I always forget to drag all my new music into the iPhone playlist.

Or is the only way to do this to delete all the music that is old and not on my phone from the computer?

Found a way using smart playlists:

Highlighted every song in my library. . . set them all to zero star ratings.

Then highlighted every song in my iPhone playlist and set them to a different rating.

Created the smart playlist with the following criteria:

Criteria one: Rating of 5 stars (the rating i set all the songs in my iPhone playlist).
Criteria two: Songs added from today onwards.

This got all my original songs in (due to the rating) and will add every song I add to iTunes from now on. :)
