I wasn't sure which forum was appropriate but this seemed to be the closest.

I have an itunes playlist that I plan on burning to a CD so I can listen in the car. However, one of the songs has a long period at the end where it's just talking. To save space, I decided to make the stop time earlier. (get info => options => stop time).

My question is: does that changed stop time carry over if I burn it onto a disc? I have a limited number of blank CDs so I'd rather not waste one just to test it out.

If you have any doubts, you can have iTunes create a copy of the song that you've changed the ending time on (as in create a new mp3/aac/whatever). The newly created track will only be as long as the edited length of the original.
