itunes - plizz help!

hello, k so this problem just started like a day ago and never used to happen before: so when i search the letters 'un' in itunes search box it takes like forever for potential search results to appear in the drop down list for it (they do appear but just after ages) whereas any other search will appear immediately... pliz help... the key 'n' works perfectly fine (tried it out on microsoft word and on other itunes searches e.g. 'an'...) so i dont think it has anything to do with the keys... i have the newest mac with the newest os and updated itunes... p.s. can i uninstall itunes then install it again? will doing so cause all my music, apps etc to disappear? any other suggestions? pliz help thnx
