I'm sorry if this has already been asked, I can't seem to find it anywhere. Can someone explain to me what is so special about ripping with the itunes plus option. It seems like you could already rip at 256VB ACC?

I assume you are referring to iTunes 8.01? I haven't played around with it much, but my understanding is that one of the things it does is to change the default ripping bitrate to 256kbps. Previous versions were able to do this as well, but users had to go in and select custom and then change the preferences. Now it does it by default.

yea, i was referring to 8.1. They made it sound like it was something special, but i guess they just changed the default. thanks.
