iPod touch iTunes podcasts not syncing?

Hey guys, how come when I try to sync some of my video podcasts to my touch it says 'cannot sync this podcast to ipod'? I have downloaded them straight from the iTunes store so they should just sync right over? This is really annoying me as the ones that aren't syncing are some of my favourite podcasts.
