My iTunes has begun to cut tracks before their end - with imported (not downloaded) stuff.
From what I can tell, it seems to be affect only some tracks - possibly those imported after a certain date, rather than over a certain length. (It seems to happily chug-through all the overlong old hippy stuff from the 70s, but choke and spit-out the indie stuff I've since added.)
Seems to be a common problem, with a suggested fix being to export and reimport the xml to a new library.
With 250k tunes, this is clearly not the work of a moment, and although I'm ok to try it, I'll be reluctant to do so again if required.
Hence I'm wondering if there's an alternative to what I assume is database corruption.
