Sorry to bore you with another problem, but mine is quite critical.

I downloaded and installed iTunes 7.1.1 via Software Updater the day it came out. The problem occurs when I run iTunes. Everything runs fine for the first two minutes. I can play music, browse the store, anything. After two minutes, suspiciously consistently, iTunes "unexpectedly quits." This has been happening all day and I am at my wits end in solving the problem.

I've tried uninstall/reinstall. I've tried reinstalling the older version, I've tried repairing permissions, I verified the disk, everything I could think of.

I won't clog the post by posting the report sent to Apple unless requested.

So does anyone has any other options or routes to solve this problem? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

if I open iTunes by plugging my iPod into my computer, then iTunes runs fine without a hitch. It's only when I click on the dock icon that it crashes. Weirdest bug ever.

try removing itunes from the dock, then add itunes again from the applications folder. launch and see what happens.

exact same thing happens. I'll just post the error log:
