itunes problems

having an odd problem, I bought a bunch of lost episodes that I backed up on an external drive when I sold my powerbook. I moved everything off my external drive to my imac at work and all my music transfered and so did the movies but they won't work. I authorized the machine to play them but its to no avail. I also purchased a game on tuesday, played it all day on my ipod then this morning it said the game needed to be reloaded. when i got to work there was no " game " folder in my library and it won't work on my ipod. any ideas?

this might sound kind of silly but have you tried to repair permissions?
