itunes public folder external harddrive

Hello all


Currently my music files are in the public folder however, the itunes library file is in my music folder.

I want to move all my itunes media to an external, out of space. How to I handle this situation of multiple locations during move. I don;t care to have my actual music files in the public folder anymore either.

copy all your music to your external, delete the library in itunes then just drag your music folder from external to itunes goto Itunes > preferences> advanced and uncheck the ' add all music to itunes home folder before ya do
