iTunes Purchased song gone....?????

I purchased a song on itunes a few days ago and now i cant find it!?

I went to listen to it and it is no longer in my library, nor my "Purchased" playlist... I even checked Time Machine and it has no record of the song on my mac!!!!!!!

I have listened to it and even have the email receipt! Where could it have gone and more importantly how do i get it back!

Do you have more than one computer? I know that I've purchased a song on one computer and forgot which computer it's on.

UPDATE:

I have just updated to the latest itunes (7.6.1) and it is now in my library!!!!!!

I know many will think that i didnt look correctly but trust me i did.
