Itunes purchases in Iceland...

Hello,

I had an iPod Touch as a gift in Iceland, purchased from a shop here. Anyhow, I cannot register to the iTunes store, and download applications, as it seems the store is not available here. Yet Apple is selling this product here, also through their icelandic website.

Is there some workaround to purchase apps in countries not server by iTunes I should be aware of???

Can you try registering an account in another country where they have an iTunes store? I know a lot of people in Europe register US accounts as well so they can get apps that are only available in the US store. Not sure of the ins and outs as never done it myself, but a forum search should throw something up or maybe someone helpful will post details here.

Ah, I will look into that, thanks! I was not aware this was even possible, but maybe I could do something similar to what we have to do with Wii stores, where we need to use prepaid cards to purchase games from the US store.

I will search the forums for more info!
