Hi,

I just purchased my first couple of tunes on iTunes, and I'm wondering if there is a way to convert them to mp3 so I can download them to my phone. I'd like to, since I have no ambition to get an iPod yet (probably after the summer), so I'd like to be able to listen to the tunes on the go until then

So is there a way, and is it legit? I prefer to keep my software legal for some stupid reason.

You can convert iTMS tracks to MP3s by burning them onto a CD and then re-ripping them. Of course, this is assuming iTunes is set to import your tracks as MP3s. The format and bit-rate can be selected in the Advanced section of the iTunes Preferences.

However, I don't think the iTMS agreement allows you to put these songs on your phone, so it's not legitimate. :(

That sucks. I won't be buying any more then until I get an iPod (if I do decide to get one)

Damn my morals:mad:
