Itunes purchases won't sync to ipod

So I took the plunge and plugged my ipod into leopard but now its saying I am not authorised to put those files, my itunes purchases on my ipod? anyway around it?

Anyone? I don't want to waste my purchased itunes songs, videos etc but it says the computer is not authorised

in iTunes, click store (on the top toolbar), then authorize computer. that should do it.
