iTunes Q - What is symbol next to song names?

It looks like the wifi symbol or volume - a cone pointing upwards of concentric rings. Some of my song names in my iTunes library have this symbol to the left of the song name, but most songs don't have this symbol at all.

I can't figure out why it's there. Help?

Oh thanks! Yeah, the band's company is making songs available and I was worried that I wasn't actually downloading them. There's a way I can do that so I'm not at the mercy of the band's website shutting down.
