I own a fairly decent PA system, and my mate asked me if I could do a party for him in a pub hall. Thought I would use my Mac to play the music considering the genre they want played and the fact that there will be requests too.

I'm planning to use iTunes, but I find it really annoying to have to "drag" songs to the playlist. Reason why is because that there is a chance you might click instead of drag and that song will start playing. Not very professional if you have a song cutting out with another.

Is there a way to get a song to appear in the playlist without having to drag it? Would be much better to select the song and press a key, so you have no way of accidently playing it.

Control click on the song and it will give you the option to add it to a playlist.

Thanks for the reply - but there is still a chance I might select that song by mistake.

Maybe I just need to be careful like!
