Ok, you all know how when 5 seconds are remaining in the song iTunes kind of cuts it off and moves on to the next song? That just doesn't seem logical to me, and anyway all the songs I listen to cut off at the last second, so I literally lose 5 seconds of all the songs I listen to. Is there any way to change this so I don't have to be cut off everytime? At least the iPod doesn't do that.

iTunes preferences -> Playback -> Crossfade playback: Either uncheck or drag the slider way down... 
Not trying to be mean, but it is surprising how many people don't know about the preference panel in iTunes (or in Mac OS X for that matter). Many problems people have with iTunes can usually be solved with a simple click or unchecking of something.
Definitely make a quick run through of the preferences so you know what is there the next time you have a problem.
