Just yesterday, I noticed that the number '1' appeared to the right of the 'Applications' listing along the left side of iTunes on my MacBook Pro. I can't figure out what this means. I have synced my iPhone, which shows the same apps as appear in the iTunes Apps window. Any ideas?

I think it means there is 1 update for an application you have downloaded try clicking the "Check for Updates" in the Applications area

Thanks, I didn't see that very small option in the lower right corner! Strange, but there were 6 apps that had available updates. When I check for updates on the iPhone itself, no available updates showed up.

I believe it indicates an update is available. Click 'Check for Updates' and get back.
