I have a friend that is coming to visit but they wont be bringing their mac. However they want to be able to play some of their tunes on my mac.

My question is, is there a way to save an itunes playlist and have it playable on another mac? If they logged in through the itunes store or something?

Thanks,
James

You would need an app that can stream their library over the Internet. Sorry, but I don't know of any off-hand.

There's a cross-platform app called Simplify Media that can stream their library. Your friend will have to install it on their computer, sign up, then install it on your computer and allow it to access their account - it should then stream it to your computer over the internet (music purchased via the iTunes Store isn't supported though).
There's also an iPod touch/iPhone counterpart to the app that can stream from the computer to the device.
