Hi guys!
I have used both Xslimmer and monolingual to slim down the architecture and language files.
The problem is that itunes 9 and quicktime X isn't working!
iTunes tries to "organize" the library (not sure the exact word since I'm using korean) and closes the application automatically without any error.
For quicktime, if I try to open a movie file it says loading but nothing happens. I'm able to record screen and record movie with my webcam tho.
Also I tried to watch movie with front row but it isn;t working! maybe it's because quicktime isn't working!
I've got macbook white with OSX 10.6.3
I've used really old version of monolingual and xslimmer which I had since 10.5 days....
I don't know if this is the problem....
Can you please help??
I tried reinstalling itunes but it doesn't work and it tries to run in 32bit and shuts down automatically.
I cannot install quicktime x because my cd drive isn't working...
Keeps spitting out....

You don't need to run both Monolingual and Xslimmer. One or the other will do. And be careful which architecture you remove.

Note to others: When you download an app, try reading about it before you blindly use it. For Monolingual, at least, there are plenty of hits on how you want to watch out for deleting frameworks (I suggest not deleting any) and how you should not delete certain languages (especially English, but Czech is even known for causing some programs to not function).

Why would you want to delete any architecture from QT X? It isnt a Universal Binary, only intel since it is only in SL.
These are your architecture choices in Monolingual:
