iTunes Quirk?

Didn't know where to post this, so I'll try it here.

Last night when I opened iTunes, I needed to input my iTunes password to gain access. No big deal, except that this NEVER happens.

Didn't think much of it. But when I was talking to my sister today, she said that she got a message last night that her iTunes password had been changed, even though she hadn't changed it. She called Apple and was basically told that they couldn't explain it.

So I'm wondering whether or not there was some system-wide problem, given that both events occurred at around the same time. (Also needed to input my PW today.) I checked Google to discover whether or not there was a problem with no result.

Anyone else experience anything out of the ordinary with iTunes in the past 24 hours?

Every time I go into the iTunes Store, I input my password, and then it won't go through until I restart iTunes. This happens like three times a day. Only just in the last month though.

I think they're going through growing pains.

This has happened in the past to me, but not the last few months.
