iTunes quit unexpectedly

About 2 weeks ago I opened my itunes but to no avail, i tried several times to reinstall the software to no avail, i tried to look up some threads here (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/968877/) and did what they said, to no avail, can't call apple, no apple care and they want to charge my first born to help, again, to no avail
now i am going to post the report and see if anyone knows why itunes will not open:

Please post the Binary Images portion of the crash report.
 
this fixed it for me

Fixed.

To do that I removed the file "DesktopVideoOut.component". It is located inside my home folder/Library/Quicktime folder.

Deleted it and restarted. iTunes 10.0.1 opened like a champ.

Did you try what grin828 suggested? Because based on the above, it's still being referenced by iTunes.

Quit iTunes. Move DesktopVideoOut.component from /Users/tony/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components to your Desktop. Retry iTunes.

[EDIT] Now I see that you need to look in a different place than where grin828 suggested. But I think his suggestion is a good one.

LPZ and grin828 that was very helpful, moved that DesktopVideoOut.component and iTunes opened up without a hitch.
you guys rock, i don't care what everybody else said, you two are the bees knees, whatever that means, THANKS appreciate all the help. you saved this mac pro from being thrown off a bridge or getting shot...:D
 
still not working

I am still having trouble opening iTunes. I searched for DesktopVideoOut.component, but there is nothing in the component folder at all. Any other suggestions?

iTunes 12.9.5. using the retrospective app.

the reason? i want to keep the song view, when playing music and not seeing the album view.
