Itunes quit unexpectedly

Hey guys i'm new to the forums and new to macs so i really have no clue how to fix any problems on the mac growing up i always used a mac but for the past 6 years i have been using a pc. so long story short i bought a used mac to kind of dink around with and for some reason Itunes keeps quiting unexpectedly.

I also tried to download limewire and it loads up to 6% then it just sits there. Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone give me some tips I cannot figure this out. Any advice will help. Thanks!

Did you make any changes to iTunes?

The only thing I can suggest for now is, check your plug-ins.
/Users/*User*/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins/*problem*
If nothing is in there... I don't know.
If there is anything in there, put it on the desktop and check iTunes again.

As for LimeWire, I don't have a fix, but I can tell you if you get it working, you will probably be disappointed. I've looked for a few songs and all I found were PC viruses, low quality, and anything that is not what I was looking for.

Honestly, I think it is easier (not saying it's easy) to download a YouTube video, and extract the music.

Sounds like someone screwed up the drive or the os. Reinstall the os.
