I have ios 7 with iPhone 5c and had no issues running iTunes Radio. However, since I have an original iPod touch with 5g with the playlist created from my iMac, I was also able to see my playlist using iTunes Radio on wifi or sometimes 3G if I choose to.

What's odd is I didn't register for iTunes Match. How is I that I can stream or download my songs in the playlist via iTunes Radio without iTunes Match?

Didn't Apple once say it was free before they added fess to it? Or is iTunes Match for $25 a year exclusively for those who want an ad free experience?

Is there a way to determine if I was on iTunes Match because I want to make sure it wasn't accidentally activated?

Thanks!
