iTunes Radio needs its own icon.

With all the talk around iTunes Radio, I think it is time for Apple to give it its own icon for direct access instead of having people go through the Music app.

It'll have to be a stand alone app once they come out with a new subscription based service. It will make the most sense.

If I used it more I'd like it to have its own icon. Its a bit of a data hog for me to use vs other music streaming services however.

Rumor has it that it is indeed a standalone app in iOS 8.

It will be a good thing if they make it a standalone app. It's a pain to try and open it up through Music each time; even though their main reason for that was to try and promote the service.

Honestly in the Music app does make more sense because it allowed for people to play music and then switch over without leaving the app. Then they don't really consider it the same as Pandora... but if you split it into it's own app people will start noticing the similarities.
