Hey there!
I have an iPod Touch 1G that's running 3.1.2. iTunes has done this several times to me, and I can't seem to get it to work. In this particular case, I imported a CD to iTunes, and it has worked fine for a month until now.

This is what it does:

It randomly changed from one album to two in iTunes. Of the nine tracks, only one is in one folder, and the other eight are in the other folder. Under preferences, I have it so compilations are grouped together, and I checked both folders as part of a compilation.

When I synced my iPod, it put the two albums separate as you can see, but in each one of the albums is all nine tracks. What can I do to make it one album on my computer, and one album on my iPod? This has happened to several albums before in the past but they usually fix themselves and I would like to know how to fix it for myself now.

Thanks for your help!

The last time i had something like that happen - a field wasn't the same. It was bizarre - and, it was on something i purchased from iTunes.

So go into the info, and make sure the same info is in all fields.

If it's not that, i have no clue - but at least start there!
