I heard that iTunes keep every copy of app you've ever downloaded. Which creates a rats nest of old apps. Has anyone looked into this? How do you know which to delete? Does the file show each version?

These are the two file I am talking about. Why do I need both? Any advice?

How about you just copy both to another folder than delete one and see what happens?
