I recently re-installed Tiger on my macbook because I'd accidentally deleted system preferences and I needed it back. I still have all of my HD data, except that iTunes will bounce once in the dock, and then disappear. It doesn't open to my library like it usually would. Anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks.

Log out, log in and try again. Restart OS X. Failing that download the installer for iTunes and run it again.

I'd take a look at the logs as well to see what happens when iTunes fails to launch.

You have not mentioned if you ran updates after the archive and install. If you haven't you likely have the version of iTunes which shipped with Tiger, which is not iTunes 9.0.3 which you probably had beforehand.

I went to the Apple website and downloaded 9.0.3 and it's the same result.
