iTunes registration screen upon every iPhone sync - Bug?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but it is pretty annoying. The 'Register Your iPhone' welcome screen appears every time I plug in my phone, despite the fact that I've already done so. I'm currently using iTunes version 4.3. Is this a known bug and should I update to 4.3.1?

Latest public release for iTunes is 10.3.1, for iOS it's 4.3.3 for GSM and 4.2.8 for CDMA. Did you mistype?
