iTunes - reimport songs from your hard drive?

I accidentally deleted the wrong tracks.

They landed in the trash.

I found out, pulled it out of the trash and put it back into the folder where they were.

Only: iTunes doesn't see them there.

How can I import songs into iTunes that are already on my hard drive?

Just dropping the song files into the right folder doesn't work. iTunes doesn't see them.

Oh! The moment I clicked to post, I knew what I had to do.

In iTunes, Command O, and select the songs, click OK, and it actually copies the songs.

And puts it into the right place, too.

Great app, iTunes.
