iTunes removed music; help!

All,

I added some new music to iTunes last night and discovered that it removed these same songs today!

The songs were still in my iTunes music folder, so I readied them, but weird nonetheless.

Anyone else ever experience this? Is this a common issue?

Had any other changes been retained? It's possible that the library file didn't update properly so when you cane to open the app again it reverted to the older version of the library file without these new files added.

Thanks for the insight -- I think that's what happened.

Just opened my library and see that iTunes retained all my recently-added music.
