iTunes rentals difference between UK and US store?

I'm planning on getting an Apple TV with a foreign account (either US or UK), cause I don't have any confidence that anytime soon we will get rentals and stuff in The Netherlands.

Before I order an iTunes gift card, I would like to know what makes the most sense. I have easy access to the UK, but if the iTunes store in the US has more content, than I'm more inclined to get a US account.

Is there anyone with experience who can say if there is a difference in content between the UK and the US?

You can choose which store you are looking at whilst browsing in iTunes - just have a look around yourself and see which makes the most sense for you!

Go US!!!! It's got more content and it's sooo much cheaper!
