iTunes Rentals?

Anyone know how the rental thing works for iTunes? I havent tried it yet but ill be using it with my AppleTV when the update is out. Will it kind of be like the "On Demand" cable feature where u purchase the movie and then get it for a handful of hours before it is not viewable anymore? What about syncing it to an iPod touch? Once it's on the touch wouldn't that mean the user would then own the movie?

If you rent on your AppleTV, it will stay on your AppleTV—you won't be able to sync it to your touch. As for playing it, you have 30 days to start it playing. Once you've started it, you have 24 hours to finish it before it expires.
