iTunes restore not restoring anything...

So I jail broke my fiancées iPhone and I was trying to restore it back now however hen I restore it doesn't actually restore anything. It brings me to a screen that says "restore complete now just a few more steps". But still nothing comes back. It worked earlier but I had messed something up an did another restore and then restore backup. Is there any way to get the backup to actually restore? She had over 800 photos so I am going to be in deep doodoo if I lost them
