iTunes scrolling lag on rMBP

Hi guys, a couple of months ago when I bought my MBA I noticed that iTunes was quite slow, especially when browsing my albums. Now that I own a rMBP, the problem seems even more annoying. I find this quite frustrating, as a laptop for $1500 should have no problems browsing songs.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues on rMBP?
 
iTunes scrolling lag exists on a lot of my machines it smoothes out after a while of browsing but occurs a bit thereafter too.
