iTunes search running slow?

I recently moved all of my music over to my 2nd HD in my computer. Yet searching is really lagging compared to before, and before I had around 9000 songs and now I cut it down to about 6000. What could be the problem? I have Uno installed and that's all I can think of.

That's not an easy question to answer. Use Activity Monitor to ensure you don't have any rogue processes using up your resources. Is the second hard drive as fast as the first? Do you have plenty of free space on the boot drive? Is it only iTunes that is running slowly?
