iTunes Server to Receiver in other room

Hello,

I have a G4 500MHz that I am going to use as a music server using iTunes. My main receiver is in another room and I was wondering what the easiest way of getting the music to the receiver from the server was.

by reciever do you mean another computer, because if so you can simply enable itunes sharing on the "server"

By receiver I think he means stereo receiver, yes?

I realize you are using iTunes, but what is your music encoded in? MP3, AAC, etc... this might help with some other suggestions.

IE Escient, Sonos etc.
