itunes shared music problems

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here could help me with a problem i've been having with itunes. On my mac the find music feature works fine... but on my windows pc the shared music is only there every once and awhile... I'm connected to a college network so there are always people online sharing... I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks for your help

do you have SP2 installed....... i think iTunes gets blocked or something.... maybe i'm wrong...... i don't know... anyone else have an idea????

Depending on your setup XP SP2 should actually ask you if you would like to allow iTunes to talk to the network but if not you can also change it manually:

Simply select your UTP or Wireless Firewall Settings (Depending on your connection) and click on the exceptions tab and add iTunes to the list of allowed apps.
