I can no longer share "non apple store media" from computer to iPhone?!

example: insert a CD of music, convert it, add to play list.. now iTunes tells me 1. cancel add to playlist or 2. apple will delete your whole play list!!!

Saying I am displeased is an understatement

Is there a setting or workaround, planning on using dropbox.

What does it actually say, word for word? If you can post a screenshot of what happens when you try to add a track to the playlist, that would be even more helpful.

Are you using iTunes for Windows or for Mac?
