just wondering if there's a keyboard shortcut to go to the next song even if i'm in a different program window. I play my library on shuffle and would like to switch songs without having to go back to iTunes.

I don't believe so. You might check in your System Preferences, Universal Access area.

Otherwise I'm sure some members can point you to programs that will change tracks from your menu bar at the top. Also you can right click on the iTunes icon on the dock and click next track. Not a keyboard short cut but still.....

Another way to do this is with Quicksilver by setting up triggers. There's nothing wrong with Sizzling Keys of course, but if one is already running Quicksilver, then the OP could achieve the same goal without installing another piece of software that uses additional resources.

I don't mean to undercut the answers already given, just to show that there is another option that some may find valuable. :)
