Itunes Showing previously downloaded apps as "Install"

In the app store on my iPhone 4s, I downloaded many apps to see what they were like, did full restore due to laggy phone. When I went back in the app store, it shows the apps I downloaded previous as "Install" and all other apps as "Free" or shows a price for example "$0.99". I want to know how to clear my download history associated with my apple id?

I dont think you can. You will have to create a new Apple ID.
Its there to allow you to install apps you paid for before without paying for them again.
And to reinstall apps you installed before. Its all tied up to your apple ID.
But why you want to clear them? Its done for a reason.

I guess your right, its a helpful feature to keep track of your downloaded apps. One question regarding what you just said, lets say I buy an app from my apple id, can i share it with friends? Download it on their iphones using my id?

Yes, I believe you will have to log out their phone from their itunes account, log in using your apple ID and download it.
It might ask you for verification before it lets you though.
