What would be a possible reason for this? The iPhone functions fine and is obviously not corrupt. It's been syncing with the same iTunes library for over 6 months, yet all the sudden it shows up as a corrupt white 5th gen iPod that needs a restore according to iTunes :confused:

Edit: this is a vista machine
