This is a little program created by Jason Freeman a . Basically it looks at your iTunes library and creates a short music file that represents who you are in terms of music.

His description of the app:
"People often ask me what music I listen to, and I find it difficult to describe my enormous music collection in just a few sentences. So I created iTunes Signature Maker (iTSM) to answer in sound a question I cannot answer in words. iTSM analyzes your music collection and creates a short audio signature to represent it.

iTSM selects a small number of your "favorite" tracks based on some simple selection criteria, such as the number of times you have played them or the rating you have assigned them. Then it analyzes the audio content of these files, combining a small bit of each of them to create the signature."

Thanks :D I actually just learned about it.

I had done a search on it because I had a feeling that something like this was once posted here. made sure that I plugged in the right wording so that it comes up easily for future searches.

Wow, that's gross!

Really good part of the song too.

Nor did mine.. well it did and it didn't. My wife and I share an account and apparently she dominates me in music listening, rating, etc.. so my came out kinda sounding what I image hers would sound like.. that is unless I don't really know me and I am actually listening to this stuff (not bad stuff, just always thought I had a different style more electronic but it came out sounding more of a mix of soft stuff).

There is mine.

I doesn't sound as good though.
Your server needs this in a .htaccess file:
AddType audio/mpeg m4a
but... I have never listened to Billy Breathes.. my sister put it on here for her iPod literally 20 minutes before I made the signature.. it makes for a nice ending, though. :p

Did I hear some The Ataris in there? :D

This is AWESOME, it really has picked my favorites out of 2000 songs! (I know its random) but still pretty cool. I'll post it a little later
