iTunes Skipping Songs

Hi there,

In the last little while I have been having problems with newly imported songs where they all skip at 1:37 to the next song as if they have been set to stop at that point. If I manually drag the scrubber past this point the songs will play. Also, if I "convert to ACC", it will only convert the first 1:37 of the track as the new file.

Has anyone experienced this or know how I can fix this? It is driving me nuts trying to just listen to music on my Mac.

The songs do not skip when played on my iPhone or iPad. Only when played using iTunes on my Mac.

Maybe for some reason they were accidentely set to only play to that time.

Right click one of the songs that is skipping and "Get Info" then click "Options" tab and check if the stop time box is checked?

Hey,

Thanks for the reply, however the song is not set to end in the info section. It doesn't really make any sense. Very frustrating.
