iTunes randomly skips for half a second while playing songs. It is not always the same songs, nor the same parts of the songs. Does this have something to do with the internal speaker of my Powermac, or is it iTunes itself that's causing the problem?

The people on this board are quite helpful, but we need more info. What model are you using, how much memory, what OS version, what other apps are you running at the same time as iTunes, etc.

Dual 867 G4, OS X 10.2, 768 MB of RAM. I'm using the internal speaker. I think it's my speaker, as I have noticed the problem in other apps. Does anyone know good speakers for Macs?

Soundsticks..if your willing to spend that much. They are the best... Otherwise, I bet you everyone will either recommend the Monsoons or the Monsters from JBL

But I recommend:
harmon/kardon Soundsticks- not only is it digital sound (plugs into USB port) it matches with the Powermac G4 :D
