iTunes slow downloads

I'll make this a short story.

Starting around the beginning of June my iTunes download speeds have been pitiful at 300kb/s, it *never* goes higher than that. My internet connection can download ad 2.8MBps at tons of other websites so I know it's not my connection. I can also download my iPhone firmware at 2.8MBps but as soon as I download music or update an app it is solidly capped at 300kb/s. Is this some sort of new restriction? It's absolutely driving me crazy.

You've got to be kidding me. It's been slow for 45 days and 30 min after I post this it's blazing fast now...This is just too weird. I know I'm not going crazy...

It's ok.. that is the best way to fix things, attempt to bring it to someone elses attention and it goes away before they can see it. It works almost every time.
