I don't know if anyone can help me with this, but I'll describe what I want to do.

I have a smart playlist in iTunes called Never Played. It contains all songs with a playcount of zero, obviously. It contains several thousand items.

In iTunes 8, i did NOT sync this playlist to my iPod Touch or iPhone.

However, I always had this playlist available to me on my devices. Interestingly, it contained a subset of the original playlist, and was a great way for me to play tracks that were already synched but had a playcount of zero.

When I upgraded to iTunes 9.0, this playlist disappeared off of my iPhone.
Do any of you iTunes gurus know of a way to recreate it?

I must not understand fully. But why can't you just go to "file" --> "new smartplaylist" --> and make the playlist with the same filters as you had?
