iTunes is very laggy for me when scrolling.

Happens on the home page, grouped with artwork view, and basically any page with images. iTunes runs nice in the list view.

It is quite annoying.

Any fix? Any one else having these issues?

It is definitely slower when scrolling in album-list view for me. This is to be expected. I'm not sure if you can fix that.

iTunes slows me down so much...

..i just ordered a another GB of RAM simply so I can use it. Would a high amount of music slow down the computer than just a normal (say, 30 GB) of music?

I dont even use album view or anything.

It has to do with how iTunes loads the artwork only when needed. This also leads to using a lot of RAM over time. iTunes 7 new artwork options are not implemented with RAM consumption in mind.

I recommend not using any of the artwork views if choppy scrolling is bothersome.
